It’s no easy task, but nothing rewarding ever is.What you’ll do :Based at our Moomba facility on a 2 : 2 FIFO roster, this position provides cost effective scheduled maintenance, repairs, calibrations and diagnosis of plant and field process control instrumentation and electrical equipment within Moomba plant to ensure safe, reliable performance.Key responsibilities include :Maintaining, repairing and performing fault finding diagnosis on plant process equipment which includes but not limited to :Analytical Product Quality Equipment and Measurement InstrumentationProgrammable Logic Controllers (PLCs)Instrumentation (analysers, transmitters, gauges, flow measurement devices, control valves, actuators relays, solenoids, pneumatic equipment and ignition systems)Power Generation (distribution, switching and control equipment, alternators, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS’s)Carrying out duties and responsibilities of a designated High Voltage OperatorUtilising maintenance systems for the testing and reporting of Integrity ManagementMaintaining, inspecting and / or installing hazardous area equipmentAttending to the breakdown of machinery and rectifying faultsUpholding and ensuring compliance with EHS standards for performance and behaviourWhat you’ll bring :Dual trade qualified with Electrical and Instrumentation certificationHigh standard diagnostic, technical, PC and equipment failure analysisSwitchgear, motor controls, safety systems, power generators, variable speed AC drives, pneumatic and electronic process control instrumentation and PLC controls will also be held in high regardExperience and training in hazardous areasExperience and training on high voltage equipmentCurrent First aid and CPR certificatesWhat you’ll get :Here, you’ll be amongst high-calibre people and get to work on industry-leading projects.
