Large national buildings services contractor that works on major build and infrastructure projects across the country for some of the leading tier 1 and tier 2 builders / main contractors.
Work within the group commercial team to minimise risk and support bid teams for pre contract support.
Position
Reporting into the commercial director you will work closely in a team that reviews, analyzes, and mitigates contract risk for the group.
Your role will include;
* Review major project contract documents for legal and commercial concerns
* Collaborate with Estimators, Project Managers, Construction Managers, General Managers, and Directors to negotiate and modify clauses in project contracts
* Assist in reviewing and resolving Supplier’s and Subcontractor’s departures from Standard Terms & Conditions
* Review documents for final execution by relevant Directors
* Manage the safe-keeping of fully executed contracts by registering them and filing
* Support Project Teams, General Managers, and Directors with commercial-related queries
* Provide Notice Templates and ad-hoc client-submission documents
* Assist with Project contractual claims and notices
* Perform any other reasonable duties as required
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate the following;
* Degree in law, commercial, construction, or engineering
* Experience in contract administration
* Construction industry experience (advantageous)
* High attention to detail
* Ability to work independently
* Team player
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
