Job Description
This is a specialist role within the Power Generation business, focusing on detailed costing and estimating works, supplier relationship management, and category strategy development.
* Conduct complex analysis to identify improvement opportunities in markets, supply chains, and supply base.
* Identify qualified suppliers and execute sound source selection processes to ensure optimal cost, quality, and relationships.
* Maintain regular interface with suppliers, developing and maintaining effective relationships to benefit both parties.
* Independently carry out sourcing activities, considering the impact on the end-to-end supply chain and executing tactics in line with category/commodity strategies.
* Participate in the formulation of sourcing and category commodity strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Analyze sourcing and procurement initiatives to support cost-effective and high-quality goods and services delivery.
* Lead analysis projects, provide coaching to less experienced analysts and specialists, and negotiate select contracts.
* Ensure consistent application of sourcing procedures, support procurement management, and proactively mitigate supplier risks.

* Education and Experience: College, university degree or Trade equivalent in a relevant field preferred. Intermediate level of related work experience required.
