You will be Responsible for covering all supervisory requirements within the team, it also includes the additional responsibilities with respect to electrical safety and compliance as the appointed electrical supervisor and nominee. In addition, the role will include the requirement to develop and manage maintenance plans, ensure performance-based maintenance services are provided, ensuring correction of all defects and compliance with all standards and statutory requirements. THE POSITION Design and Delivery of mechanical/ Electrical works Attending committee meetings Providing Supervision to all mechanical / electrical workers on site Provision of assistance in addressing all technical and compliance issues Relaying and communication across teams and safety sub committee meetings NT Electrical Contractors License Trade qualified ( Dual desirable) ARCTICK Licence In depth understanding of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment and ability to apply principles. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage a budget Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to schedule and plan works Computer literate – ability to use IT systems to maintain efficient operations Work safely at heights, confined space entry, Gas test atmospheres tickets ( desired) THE PERSON Trade qualified electrician with a valid NT Electrical license Drivers Licence Previous experience within a supervisor or team leader role Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations Previous experience in facilities maintenance/management desirable DALI/NEXUS experience desirable Willing to obtain a National Police Check Clearance and Working with vulnerable people card Full Australian Working Rights Low voltage rescue (CPR) Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Flexible approach and attitude Good communication skills Hard working Physically fit and reliable Team player and able to work autonomously.
