Your new company
This State Government Department is working to support South Australians across all life stages from childhood to adulthood, by providing access to essential integrated services. The department is looking for an Executive Assistant the inner Western suburbs of Adelaide.
Your new role
You will coordinate and provide high level confidential and professional secretarial support services including effectively managing calendars and associated activities and working closely with the Director. You will undertake a range of minor projects, research and related functions whilst delivering accurate, timely and effective financial management and HR support. You will coordinate and provide support to group meetings, including the leadership team and various governance committees, whilst coordinating high-level meeting papers, collating information, preparing minutes and providing status reports. You will establish and maintain accurate tracking and recording systems including database maintenance and undertaking data collection.
What you'll need to succeed
* Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels.
* Previous administrative and/or executive experience supporting senior staff.
* Previous experience in coordinating and undertaking projects, investigations and report writing.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team under limited direction.
* Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
* Experience in Microsoft Office Applications and records management systems.
* Attention to detail.
* Resilience and adaptability.
