Our core values begin at the very top and span the broad reach of our global community.We offer dynamic careers for those individuals looking to be a part of something bigger and provide unequivocal opportunities for growth within the organization.PSA BDP serves over 5,000 customers, including some of the world's leading multinational companies within the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals.Position DescriptionPlay a key role in providing HR expertise and advice for the entire spectrum of HR functions including employee experience, talent development, recruitment, compensation, training & development supporting the organization in achieving its business goals and complying with corporate/regional guidelines.Create and maintain human resources awareness with the management team, assisting them to develop a positive employee experience embracing PSA BDP culture & values.This is a part-time HR position based in Melbourne, requiring a 3-day work week.Responsibilities:RecruitmentWork closely with hiring managers on the recruitment needs to have positions filled effectively and efficiently.
This includes development of accurate Job Descriptions.Utilize optimum recruitment approaches to source and provide a qualified candidates' pool.Employee EngagementWork closely with business to improve and enhance employee engagement with myriad of HR programs.Learning & DevelopmentWork closely with TED (Training Education Department) in implementing learning & development strategies which are aligned to the corporate and business strategy.Compensation & BenefitsEnsure that the company is in compliance with local labour regulations.Keep abreast of the market and consistent reviews to stay competitive.Talent Management and Building Talent PipelineWork closely with leadership in identifying and building talent pipeline.Drive a performance-based culture with a robust performance review process.Employee RelationsResponsible for Employee Relations' activities including handling matters related to disciplinary actions, grievances, counselling, staff misconduct, advising and guiding management on best practices for employers and employees including all relevant employment laws.Establish good relationships with relevant industry players, e.g., HR practitioners/consultants and related government agencies and provide advice accordingly.Corporate /Regional HR PrioritiesRepresent and play a key role in supporting and executing Corporate/Regional HR priorities at the country level.Qualifications and Requirements:Tertiary Education preferably in Human Resources or Business AdministrationDiploma in Industrial Relations an added advantage5 - 7 years of Human Resources experience with MNCs at supervisory/managerial levelExperience in the same industry including warehouse/contract logisticsStrong knowledge of local labour laws and regulations and payroll experienceGood Microsoft Office Skills in Excel and Word.Attributes:Matured in outlook and thinking processPositive with a Can-Do attitudeGood Interpersonal & communication skillsEnthusiastic with a strong interest to learnIndependent and able to work under tight timelinesPrepared to be hands-on
