We are looking for an experienced assurance, audit, risk or compliance professional to join this growing risk team.This is a newly created role. You will be designing the Assurance programs, delivering assurance, and providing reporting for the leadership team.Some of your responsibilities will include:Developing, facilitating and supporting assurance program and activitiesParticipating in annual planning, scope, delivery of assurance and risk management activities and reportingRunning assurance reviews, conducting risk and control self-assessments, KRIs and incident managementDeveloping and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to support ongoing uplift in risk and assurance capabilitiesAnalysing data, collating insights and trends and providing reports to senior managementPreparing and presenting assurance training programs and embedding risk culture across the businessServing as subject matter expert on risk and compliance related matters, providing advice to internal stakeholdersDeveloping and maintaining key relationships throughout the business as necessary, ensuring open and effective communicationsThe ideal candidate will have:Circa 5+ years audit, assurance, operational risk and/or compliance monitoring backgroundExperience working in banking, insurance and/or consulting with financial services clientsAbility to work in a fast-paced and lean environment and being hands-onGreat communicator with the ability to engage and advise stakeholders at all levelsCurious mindset, problem solver, ability to find gaps and come up with solutions, able to work in a changing environmentRelevant qualificationsThis is a great opportunity for a driven and curious candidate looking to add value, grow their career and get involved in the upliftment of a function.If you would like to learn more, please send your CV to Jerin Chowdhury at PX Resources jerin@pxresources.com.au, call Jerin on 0435 903 532 or apply directly via the APPLY button.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
