About the role
Canon Production Printing Australia is currently in looking for a goal-orientated and self-motivated Business Development Manager to join our Perth team. A great opportunity for an energetic person to excel in a diverse role in a growing and exciting organisation.
Key Accountabilities:
Due to recent market growth, we are looking for a new Business Development Manager to join Canon Production Printing Australia’s close knit national sales team to assist with meeting the demands of our strategic growth.
Our ideal candidate is looking for a role where they are eager to maximise revenue, margin and business opportunities to new and existing customers within the allocated vertical markets, leveraging the full Canon Production Printing Australia solutions.
Duties and responsibilities:
Achieve revenue and gross profit targets in allocated territories.
Selling Canon Production Printing Australia wide format solutions, focused predominantly on the LFG market.
Design and execute business development plans with customers to drive sales.
Actively engage in opportunities for the business growth and build/manage a sales pipeline.
Provide timely, accurate, qualified preparation and submission of activity reports, account plans, forecasts and account management reports.
Manage your time accordingly between Account Management (customer retention) and New Business Development.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Canon Production Printing Australia products, with a particular focus on the Canon Production Printing Australia LFG range of systems, to enable effective customer interactions and sales opportunity development.
Skills we are looking for:
3 years + proven success in BDM role.
Highly self-motivated with drive to exceed targets.
Excellent communication, influence and negotiating skills.
Ability to develop and sustain strong professional relationships internal and external.
Experience with CRM preferably Salesforce.
Customer first approach.
Strong financial / analytical skills.
Impeccable presentation.
Australian driver’s licence.
Experience selling wide format printing solutions preferred.
Experience in the printing or associated technology field an advantage.
