About INTENSIVE CARE AT HOME INTENSIVE CARE AT HOME is proud to be the first accredited intensive care at home nursing service in Australia.
Having a proven, innovative, safe, and robust 3rd party accredited framework to deliver intensive care at home nursing care enables us to look after the highest acuity and sickest patients in the community in Australia.
This proven model of care is revolutionising health care and intensive care at a rapid speed, creating value for patients, families, ICUs/PICUs, hospitals, and funding bodies alike.
The intellectual property we have built for intensive care at home nursing services enables us to attract the best, most motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled ICU/PICU nurses.
INTENSIVE CARE AT HOME employs a team with hundreds of years of ICU/PICU experience, allowing us to care for more long-term ICU/PICU patients at home, which has been previously unheard of until 2014 in Australia.
Here is what we do: Having a loved one in ICU/PICU long-term on life support with medical complexities is a traumatic event.
Helping families take their loved one home from an Intensive Care environment is a unique and powerful event that requires specialist skills that only a few people and organisations possess.
We empower and equip our clients with new awareness, opportunities, love, and joy amidst massive challenges, providing them with the precious gift of a peaceful and gentle transition to a holistic client and family-friendly home care environment, far from the craziness of a hospital ICU/PICU environment.
Who You Are: If you have a minimum of two years of ICU/PICU experience and a critical care certificate (or equivalent) and want to join a dynamic and progressive team of forward-thinking ICU/PICU nurses, you have come to the right place.
