They are committed to supporting their clients throughout their building journey, from design and installation to ongoing service.About the Role:Reporting to the Head of Service Operations, you will be based in the South-eastern suburbs of Melbourne and lead a group of Field Service Technicians. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure exceptional service delivery to their customers while leveraging your business expertise to drive continuous improvement and profitability within the Victorian operation.Key Responsibilities:Lead and guide the Leading Hands and Service Technicians to enhance awareness, technical competency, and expert knowledge aligned with business objectives.Oversee individual engagement and development within the team, fostering ongoing personal growth and optimal team performance.Support, coach, and develop Leading Hands and Service Technicians to drive efficiency and competence within their respective teams.Cultivate a robust culture of Health & Safety, conducting on-site audits and safety observations to ensure compliance and enhance overall metrics.Collaborate with HR/WHS on injury management and policy adherence, aiming for optimal health and safety standards.Work closely with the Technical team, Service Managers, and technicians to create a comprehensive training program for new and existing technicians.Drive improvement in monthly metrics for van stock accuracy, collaborating with Supply Chain and team members to achieve first-time fix targets.Develop and implement comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency through on-site audits.Conduct regular Toolbox meetings, documenting minutes for transparent communication and team alignment.Develop, implement, and manage KPIs and key metrics to enhance overall business performance.Continuously monitor and effectively engage sub-contractors, ensuring fulfillment of company work demands and fostering positive relationships.Collaborate across business streams to ensure current and relevant policies, processes, and procedures are adhered to and improved as necessary.Manage and review workforce capacity planning, including roster management and leave periods.About You:To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:Solid experience in a similar Service/Operation management role.Strong business acumen and strategic operational design capabilities within an organization.Proficient financial acumen with the ability to analyze and report on revenue, margin, EBITs, and costs.Experience in the service, building, and/or construction industry.Proven track record managing large, geographically dispersed teams while achieving objectives.Understanding of service business, including maintenance processes, and technical product knowledge.Proficiency in WHS laws and legislation, along with intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.Experience with TSM or other ERP systems is advantageous.A tertiary qualification will be highly regarded.Why Apply:This is an excellent opportunity to join a Global company that offers a competitive salary, long term stability and excellent scope for advancement.Apply now or call Danielle Coulton on 0484 238 895 for a confidential discussion.
