We are currently looking for a personable Senior Accountant to join the team at our modern office. You must have a genuine desire to help our clients, get the absolute best results for them and always be willing to go the extra mile. Key responsibilities include: Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for large business groups Experiences with tax consolidations and tax effective accounting are highly valued Assisting with monitoring the offshore team and providing assistance when required Preparation and provision of internal training for offshore team Assisting our clients to grow their businesses b y better understanding tax compliance and proving proactive business advice Assistance in annual tax planning fo r client groups Review of work completed by the juniors, including BAS, financial statements, management reports, and basic payroll processed in Xero and QB Mentoring of juniors in the team and responding to their queries Providing assistance to the admin support team when required. The ideal candidate will have: Accounting degree with a good academic record Min. 5 years of tax compliance experience in public practice Tech-savvy with a genuine interest in cloud accounting.
