As avalues-driven person you;
7. Are reliable and want to help make a positive impact on the lives of customers
8. Have experience helping people to live their best lives, this might be in disability services or aged care but could also be retail, customer service or similar
9. Have good availability. The more you are available, the more work we can offer as we have day, afternoon, evening, night and weekend shifts available.
10. Have a valid NSW Drivers C class license and willingness to transport customers
11. Understand NDIS services and programs while helpful though not essential.
TheDay to Day
As aSupport Worker, you will create an environment where customers choice isparamount in a supported independent living (SIL) setting. This means helpingour customers to build and live the life they choose. Each house has adifferent personality and rhythm. Tasks could include :
12. Personal care and medication administration
13. Using manual handling equipment to support clients with movement
14. Accompanying to appointments and adhering to specialist plans
15. Adapting communication approaches to include non-verbal customers
Wewill offer full training to workers who are new to the sector to ensure youhave the skills and knowledge to best support our customers.
