Your next opportunity: We are actively recruiting an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team based in our North Ryde location. Overseeing our NSW Metro Concrete logistics function, you will be responsible for executing our logistics strategy whilst actively maintaining our safe, efficient and reliable fleet to enable delivery to our customers. Your day will involve: Effective management and coordination of the company owned and subcontracted Concrete Agitator fleet, Ensuring sufficient transport capacity is sourced and in place to meet customer demands, Providing leadership and support to the region on all Safety matters as well as CoR compliance, Ensuring efficient transport operations are meeting budget expectations, Fleet Management (Capital) and Maintenance of company owned assets, Contract negotiations and management with the subcontract fleet providers, Leadership of the fleet supervision and fleet training team, Safety and EBIT Improvement Projects, Maintaining valuable relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. What are we looking for? Strong supervisory and management experience within the Transport/ Logistics industry, Proven business acumen with a successful track record in cost management and business improvement, Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, Ability to influence and negotiate a variety of internal and external customers, with a deep understanding of customer satisfaction metrics, A thorough understanding of the NHVR and CoR Significant exposure to risk & safety management What’s on offer?
