Culture and Leadership: Foster a collaborative environment, mentor junior team members, and drive continuous improvement while delivering exceptional customer service. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in credit analysis and risk management within the SME sector Strong understanding of credit policies, procedures, and risk appetite Excellent analytical skills and ability to assess complex financial information Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders Proven leadership and mentoring skills Technical Capabilities: Credit assessment: Sound credit assessment skills, ability to write high-quality credit reports for transactions of varying complexity and risk. Understanding of credit assessment requirements and documentation throughout the customer lifecycle. Due diligence: Good understanding of KYC/AML processes, transaction risk assessment requirements, and how to conduct thorough risk assessments. High-risk facilities: Working knowledge of identifying issues and potential high-risk or non-performing files, and escalating issues as required. Small business market knowledge: Broad understanding of how debt financing can meet the needs of small businesses. Data and quality assurance: Strong numerical and analytical skills, demonstrating an understanding of the importance of data integrity and its impact on customer service and business results.
