The Marketing & Communications Manager for the Northern Territory Cluster is responsible for the development of the marketing plan and activities to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions to all relevant target markets and address all 4 hotels' business needs. This will include advertising, production, promotion, publicity, e-commerce and social media activities to drive long and short term revenue in the hotel, Groups, Conferences & Events. What will I be doing? As Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: - To act as a pro-active support function for all revenue generating departments of the hotel by providing marketing strategy, materials and resources as required - Work with the Commercial Director to ensure maximization of all campaigns and activities including online demand generation - Support the sales and business development teams with development of sales collateral, presentations, sales blitz initiatives and corporate gifts - Develop and maintain successful relationships and with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of the marketing function - Work actively to develop a profile in the hospitality and broader Marketing community in the Northern Territory to been seen as a key marketing identity - Work with the Human Resources department with the rollout of any internal communications and CSR programs. - Media liaison and relationship management including writing and distribution of press releases - Manage the hotel's social media channels including internal communications and award submissions for Hotel and key talent - Work with regional e-commerce to ensure effective natural search and sponsored search marketing, co-ordinate hotel email marketing campaigns & monitor e-commerce activities of our Hotels and competitor hotels - Update and maintain all brand websites, online travel agents, and third-party websites to ensure the content is up to date, engaging and appealing - Identify companies that will fit the Hilton brand and represent a strategic partnership / sponsorship opportunity for the hotels - Support the Commercial Team and undertake any other duties as directed by the Commercial Director and General Managers - Develop and maintain the annual marketing plan across the four properties in the Northern Territory - Implement a proactive, integrated communications strategy that supports business objectives - Arrange hotel photography and videography in line with Hilton's global photography standards - Organise hotel collateral in-line with Hilton's global brand guidelines - Development of style guides for those outlets whose identity falls outside the Hilton Brand Identity Guidelines - Ensure hotels compliance in using regional accredited suppliers including; designers, printers, photographers and liaison with Regional Marketing to ensure all accredited agencies receive latest corporate marketing guidelines - Create, maintain and implement an effective PR communications plan - Organise media familiarisation and blogger experiences with a view of securing positive media and social coverage What are we looking for?
