SACA is looking for an experienced Competitions Officer – Metro to join our Community Cricket team. The Competitions Officer - Metro is responsible for supporting the administration, operations and growth of metropolitan cricket competitions, to alleviate volunteer burden and create an exceptional experience for participants. Key responsibilities: Competition administration Lead the administration, operations and growth of the SACA Super Cricket competition. Assist in the administration of serviced associations in accordance with the Australian Cricket Pathway. Fixture competitions on PlayHQ – Australian Cricket's registration and competition administration platform. Maintain fixtures and monitor results and compliance on PlayHQ in accordance with association by-laws. Support volunteers from clubs and associations by providing education and support relating to PlayHQ functionality. Act as a conduit between SACA, the serviced associations and clubs in relation to all other competition matters. Assist with collating and processing information relating to match day incidents and disciplinary reports where necessary. Maintain association. Carnivals Assist in the administration and delivery of SACA and Cricket Australia carnivals in accordance with the Australian Cricket Pathway. Other Demonstrate a team-based approach to achieving the best outcomes for SACA in accordance with SACA's values. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations including MOU and department specific contractual arrangements. Monitor effective use of resources and manage expenditure against budgets. Ensure adherence to appropriate standards of safety, welfare and health. Any other duties as required/instructed by the Competitions Leader – Metro or Head of Competition Experience. You will hold a valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain one. Would also be great if you have… Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution. Enthusiasm and passion for the sport of cricket and a commitment to see the sport develop. Strong technology skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite, Canva and competition administration platforms. Ability to build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to show initiative and meet deadlines with changing work priorities. Experience in competition administration including fixturing for community sport associations and the use of digital platforms such as PlayHQ. Strong understanding of the South Australian cricket landscape and pathway. Tertiary qualification in Sports Administration, Business or equivalent. Creative and web content development experience. Experience with the setup of FrogBox or similar video streaming technology. Qualifications Full unrestricted Driver's License. Hold a valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
