With the support of qualified tradespeople, you will be: Assist with the preparation and installation of landscapes, including planting, paving, and retaining walls.
Learn how to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and machinery.
Adhere to all health and safety standards, including personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Work closely with the team to ensure that all projects are completed to a high standard.
Learn to work efficiently in a busy landscaping environment.
Any other tasks requested by the host employer Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria: Must have interest and commitment to work in Construction Must hold a White Card or able to obtain ASAP Hold (or close to obtaining) a current Drivers License and have own reliable transport Participation in a Pre-Apprenticeship course or Certificate I or II Construction course is advantageous Work Experience within the construction industry is highly desirable Must be physically fit & able to work outdoors Be reliable, resilient, motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to take direction Benefits of doing your apprenticeship with ECA: Long term career prospects for the right candidate You will have a dedicated Field Officer assigned for full mentoring & support during your Apprenticeship as well as a full team of staff overseeing your apprenticeship, ensuring you only need to focus on your work and college.
