Enjoy a short two-hour flight direct to our well-equipped camp and mining operation - only a five minute drive from Woodie airport.Description:We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Mine Surveyor to join our Technical Services team at our Woodie Operation, situated 407kms south-east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara.Reporting to the Superintendent of Technical Services, the successful applicant will be required to:Ensure the surveying team is meeting operational requirements.Maintain the survey control network and ensure the accuracy of survey data.Setout mine designs using GPS including Pit, Waste Dump, Drill Patterns and other infrastructure.Conduct topographic surveys using GPS and Scanner equipment.Conduct daily, monthly pit and stockpile reconciliation surveys.Produce design and as built plans using Surpac.Engage in project work to optimise mining efficiencies.Ensure team members have adequate training and development opportunities to competently fulfil their roles.Experience in maintaining and operating Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.Maintain up to date survey records in accordance with WA Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations and all survey related site work procedures.Requirements to be successful in this role are:Must have a Grade 2 Authorized Mine Surveyor's Certificate of Competency - Western Australia.Previous experience in a Senior Surveying position working in an open pit mining environment.Experienced in managing employee relations; leadership coaching, technical coaching, managing personnel against KPI’s and company values.Tertiary qualification in Mining and Engineering Surveying.Operational experience with GPS, Total Station and Scanner equipment and knowledge of associated processing.Strong computer skills, with MS Office and Surpac will be highly regarded.Strong organisational and time management skills.Applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, provide a clean NPC (dated within the last 6 months or able to obtain) and provide valid references.In return ConsMin offers:Competitive base salary + $15k site allowance + annual company bonus.Growth and development opportunities through Study Assistance.Employee benefits including discounted health insurance, salary sacrificing options and hotel discounts.Comfortable permanent rooms, excellent recreational facilities and a welcoming site culture.ConsMin seeks to recruit individuals who are aligned with our core Values of Dedication, Teamwork, Simplicity, Excellence and Innovation.Shortlisting for this position will be commencing immediately.
