About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer to join our dynamic Payroll Team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of the fortnightly payroll for ASC Pty Ltd employees. This fast-paced environment requires strict adherence to processing and reporting timelines, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and compliance with legislation and company policies.
Responsibilities
* Process timesheets and payment of salaries.
* Perform reconciliations and manage payroll deductions.
* Maintain accurate employee records.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, Awards, and EA requirements.
* Assist with the accurate and timely processing of the fortnightly payroll.
* Adhere to strict processing and reporting timelines.
* Provide quality support within the Finance/People and Culture environment.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in a medium to large payroll environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure with resilience while maintaining agreed service levels and standards.
* Proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Proficiency in CHRIS21 and Microsoft Office.
* Strong customer service ethos.
* Exceptional teamwork skills.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
