As a Theatre Technician your responsibilities will include: · Assist nursing staff in the delivery of safe and compassionate care · Transport to and from the ward · Assist with the safe positioning and immediate preoperative preparation of the patient · Assist with positioning and connection of equipment in the theatre as required · Maintenance of a sterile environment · Sound knowledge of theatre equipment and safe use practices · Adhere to Healthscope and site policies and procedures · Contribute to the efficient, effective, and economic running of the Perioperative Services team Essential Criteria: Authority to Work in Australia Minimum 12 months experience as a Theatre Technician Working with Children check Commitment to service excellence Strong time management and prioritisation skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Work well independently and within a team Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Operating Theatre Technical Support) Healthscope, where career means more!
