The role will champion an organisational culture focused on continuous improvement and lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.Your duties include:Champion a continuous improvement culture in pursuit of measurable and sustainable improvements to value streams across the TAE business.Continuously measure capacity and capability in different MRO programs and support planning to achieve growth projections.Provide advice to managers and drive implementation of business improvements, including best practice methodologies, analysis, consultation across the organisation and recommendations for greater effectiveness and efficiency including cost savings.Identify, plan, and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on data and business strategies.Provide training to the workforce across the organisation on continuous improvement methodologies.Track and report the progress of projects, programs, initiatives, and process improvement efforts.The ideal skills and experience we are looking for:Min 5 years' experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives in MRO&U or manufacturing environments.Education in Lean/Six Sigma or similar methodologies.Ability to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.Tertiary qualifications or significant relevant experience in Science, Technology or Engineering.Working knowledge of APQP methodology and process control tools.Technical or design experience in an aviation maintenance and/or engineering environment.Project management, business development and/or business analyst experience within MRO&U or manufacturing environment.Several years' experience with a track record of driving sustainable organisational performance improvement, through effective leadership, change management and continuous improvement.If this is you, then please submit your application today!TAE Aerospace is an equal opportunity employer striving to recruit the best fit whilst supporting diversity in our workplace.
