A full-time position has now become available for an experienced Warehouse Personnel/ Forklift Operator - Chep Agency operations within our Crescent Warehouse. To be effective in this role you must have excellent time management and organizational skills, and a background in Warehousing. Purpose of the position The position is responsible for providing support and efficiencies throughout the CHEP Agency operation to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and the provision of warehousing services and dispatch as per customer requirements. Responsibilities & duties Chain of Responsibility – Ensure legislative requirements are met in line with loading processes. Forklift Operations – Ensure forklift checklists are complete as per company requirements. Maintain forklift cleanliness and fault reporting as required. Stock Control – To ensure customer products are identifiable and stored to ensure ongoing stock integrity. Washing of Produce Bins & CHEP pallets to the standard required. • Follow direction from CHEP Agency controller for CHEP Agency tasks, Warehouse Assistant/Supervisor for direction of warehouse operations tasks. • Manage CHEP bin stock to ensure bins are appropriately washed and stored using available equipment. • Maintain housekeeping and ensure efficient operation of “wash bay” area. • Identify and segregate damaged CHEP bins & Pallets. • Identifying damages and reporting all damages, shortages, or quality deficiencies. Receiving of stock in full. • Picking and packing of product for dispatch. • Storage of stock as per company requirements. • Product damages are processed as per company procedures. • Stocktaking as required. • Stock rotation and presentation as per company requirements. Warehousing – To ensure that warehousing operations are completed effectively to meet daily targets as requested. • Warehouse cleanliness • Warehouse damages are reported as per company procedure. • Care of all company equipment used to complete inherent role. Equipment – Ensure warehouse and equipment used to complete tasks is maintained to a high standard. Work standard - Maintain Warehouse HACCP certification standards as directed by senior management. • Inspection of all relevant equipment used to complete required tasks is serviceable for the job purpose. Inventory processing support – To ensure that correct inventory and dispatch processes are completed as per customer expectations. Work standard –as required to ensure all customer products are received, stored and dispatched and that required reporting is completed. • Pick and Dispatch. • Inventory Stock Replenishment • Inventory Stock Maintenance • Inventory Stock Control • Report product damages Other Duties as required. Qualifications Essential qualifications • Forklift Licence Must have good customer service skills Desirable qualifications • Warehousing and Logistics Training. • Experience within the industry. • Communication skills - PWMS experience, email etiquette, experience in word & excel programs Desirable experience • Experience with RF units • Paperless warehouse management system. • OH&S training Sound like you?
