About this opportunity
As SIL Support Worker, this role will suit someone who enjoys interacting and supporting our participants with daily activities. In this role you will work on the front line of our Consumer Directed Services, delivering a wide range of services to support participants activities of daily living. This role requires you will work closely with the person to ensure their individual needs are met. Support Workers are the front line of our Consumer Directed Services programs, providing consumers with the personalised support to assist our participants to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.
An essential element of your role is that you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of care provided to participants. If this, is you, you're in luck! We have the perfect opportunity for you to do all of these things - right here, with us.
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following
* Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services or related fields (an advantage but not mandatory) or relevant experience
* Rights to work in Australia
* Availability and willingness to use a personal smartphone (iPhone or Android)
* A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle
* Satisfactory Police Records Check [less than 12 months old] and Working with Children Check
* NDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
