Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your maintenance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will primarily be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Rolling Stock and its associated equipment based at the Lilyfield Sydney Light Rail Depot. You will be required to maintain and repair a diverse range of sub-systems and be open to working on mechanical systems for up to 80% of your time. This role will require you to particpate in a rotating shift roster (4 weeks of Mon - Fri 6am - 2pm, then 4 weeks of Sun - Thurs 2pm - 10pm). We’ll look to you for:
1. Carrying out routine examinations, fault finding, interrogation and diagnostic testing on tram equipment installed on Sydney LRV system.
2. Actively maintaining and repairing tram equipment installed on Sydney LR system.
3. Following all established safety procedures, good housekeeping practices and utilising safety equipment as required.
4. Reporting daily, weekly on activities, problems found and measures taken.
5. Liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors..

8. Demonstrated maintenance experience with the ability to fault find, diagnose and repair.
9. Experience within Rail/Rolling Stock or similar industry preferred, but not essential.
10. Certificate III Electrotechnology.
11. A valid NSW Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain).
