Your next career opportunityAs a Clinical Nurse Educator with us, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of medical professionals.You'll have the opportunity to deliver high-level teaching in procedural skills, resuscitation, and simulation education for postgraduate medical students.Your expertise will directly contribute to the development of essential clinical skills in a prestigious medical education setting.Your responsibilities will include: Instruct and Assess Medical Students: Deliver hands-on training in procedural skills, clinical techniques, and equipment use as outlined in the curriculum.Coordinate Clinical Skills Program: Organise and implement the procedural skills, resuscitation, and simulation education program for postgraduate medical students.Prepare Teaching Materials: Set up equipment and materials for procedural skills and simulation sessions, ensuring a high-quality learning environment.Collaborate with Medical Educators: Liaise with clinical teachers, tutors, and staff to plan sessions and maintain educational standards.
You may be a great fit if:You are a Registered Nurse with extensive clinical experience, a passion for teaching, and the ability to effectively instruct medical students in a range of clinical procedures and skills.You may also: Be a Registered Nurse Division 1, eligible for registration with the Nurses Board of Victoria.Have extensive experience in conducting clinical procedures such as CPR, venepuncture, and IV insertion.Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Have experience in small group clinical teaching and an understanding of medical students' diverse needs.
