As the Technical Officer City Paths and Kerbs, you will be responsible for:
* Assisting in the delivery of civil maintenance (including paths and kerbs), renewal and minor works programs utilising and managing goods and services contracts.
* Assisting in contract and performance management of contractors and suppliers.
* Supporting the development and implementation of civil maintenance preventative maintenance schedules and programs.
* Assisting in the management of the City’s customer request management system for the City Roads and Drainage team.
What can you bring to the team?
* Certificate IV (or above) in Civil Maintenance or similar relevant qualifications.
* Certificate IV in Project Management (desirable).
* Current unrestricted C class driver’s licence.
* Five (5) years or more experience within the civil construction industry, project and contract management.
* Knowledge and experience in the tender, contract management and administration processes.
* Experience and expertise in budget planning and delivery and associated work programming.
* Knowledge of design and construction approval processes, regulatory authorities, procedures, codes and regulations for the delivery of civil and building projects.
* Knowledge and expertise in procurement and financial management.
* Excellent written and communication skills.
* Ability to manage and prioritise individual work responsibilities to achieve target outcomes.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively individually and cooperate with others in a team.
* As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to participate in a full pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing.

This permanent full-time Level 5 position attracts a salary range of $90,690 - $96,605 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
