About us Anglicare Southern Queensland connects with people at every stage of their life journey responding with compassion and humility, recognising the uniqueness of all individuals and advocating for the most vulnerable in our community.We've been proudly empowering generations of Queenslanders by providing care, compassion and hope for over 150 years.Anglicare Southern Queensland's success is underpinned by the skills of 3,500 dedicated and experienced staff, who collectively support over 50,000 Queenslanders through our diverse 'all of life' service groups, which include: Children and Families, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Home and Community Care and Residential Aged Care.We're dedicated to a future where we deliver exceptional care to our aged and community care clients through innovative services and passionate team members.The opportunity We are currently seeking three (3) Permanent Part-Time Rostering Officers to join our newly established centralised Rostering & Workforce Planning Team within the broader People and Culture Team.This role presents an excellent opportunity to achieve a work-life balance while serving as a Rostering Officer on a part-time basis (option to pick up extra shifts or go full time with tenure).Depending on your location, you will have the flexibility to work both remotely and in the office, in accordance with your shift schedule.The role/s The Rostering Officer creates and manages the main schedule to meet business needs, making sure staff are assigned to complete work on time and within budget.This role involves scheduling a team to provide support and care to community clients, aged care residents, families, and young people, according to various program contracts, industrial rules, and business needs.You will receive plenty of support in this role, with full training provided.The responsibilities of this role include: Manage the creation and administration of staff rosters, ensuring compliance with relevant agreements and timely shift distribution.Address employee leave requests, promptly fill vacant shifts, and maintain accurate records.Serve as the primary contact for rostering inquiries and update the roster database with worker availability and preferences.Review and authorise timesheets daily, while continuously seeking opportunities to improve rostering processes for efficiency.Build supportive relationships with staff and leadership to enhance coordination in rostering processes.Flexible work choices – choose your work pattern: Permanent part-time positions are available as outlined below.Additionally, there will be opportunities to take on extra casual shifts to cover planned and unplanned leave.Shift Pattern 1 – 30 hours per week (60 hours p/fortnight) Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat – 6am-2pm (each day) Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat – 6am-2pm (each day) Shift Pattern 2 – 30 hours per week (60 hours p/fortnight) Week 1 – Mon and Tues – 2pm – 10pm Fri and Sun 7am – 3pm Week 2 – Mon and Tues – 2pm – 10pm Fri and Sat 7am – 3pm Shift Pattern 3 – 15 hours per week (30 hours p/fortnight) Week 1 -
