The Opportunity As an International Development Proposal Coordinator you will be an invaluable member of Abt's Business Growth team, who will work with internal and external stakeholders, delivery partners, subject matter experts, Abt's Executive and project delivery teams, to support the development of high quality, client-focused and compliant proposals to the Department of Foreign Affairs Trade (Australia's development program) and other international development clients and partners across the Asia-Pacific region. Core Responsibilities Proposal Preparation and General Duties - Review and compile background research documents from external and internal sources relating to the proposal process, - Prepare specific briefings on technical and operational matters as requested by the bid leads, - Create and maintain file structures and online workspaces for each opportunity, and support the management of good filing and administration practices to maintain document control and information management, - Support and participate in capture processes, including setting meetings, taking and distributing notes, and sharing information throughout the team, - Administer key business development processes, such as opportunity tracking and management systems, databases, bid timeframe tracking, and regular reporting functions. Proposal Duties - Support the management of proposal logistics, including keeping a proposal calendar, setting up meetings, ensuring the opportunity team is on schedule. Ensure that timing issues are clearly flagged for management throughout the proposal development process. - Support communication within the opportunity team, including liaison between the bid team and costing leads, - Support and participate in technical discussions with bid team and teaming partners to help draft the tender proposal, - Engagement with proposal personnel and partners on collecting bid material and inputs throughout the proposal stage, - Support the administration of all proposal requirements including forms, agreements and templates, - Liaison with recruiter to establish staffing agreements of key program personnel.
