This role involves providing first-line support to users across the government sector, handling a high volume of inbound calls, and troubleshooting basic IT issues. If you are passionate about IT support and enjoy problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to and resolve IT-related inquiries and issues via phone and email.
* Provide basic technical support for a wide range of hardware, software, and network-related problems.
* Record and track service requests in the IT service management system.
* Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 IT issues, escalating more complex issues to higher-level support teams.
* Guide users through basic technical solutions and offer clear, user-friendly instructions.
* Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all callers.
* Assist with system access and password resets.
Essential Requirements:
* Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, and networking.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and clear manner.
* Excellent phone etiquette and a customer-focused mindset.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of calls.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
