Join our CBRE – ISPT team to delivery procurement solutionsFocus on Facilities Management ServicesSydney or Melbourne location Land of the Gadigal and Wurundjeri People We have an exciting position for a strategic Procurement Category Manager to join our Property Management business working with our major client – ISPT.
Reporting to the Senior Director, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing, contract lifecycle management and supplier performance management with a focus on Hard Services (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) or Soft Services (Cleaning, Security, Reception in Facilities Management.To be successful in this role you will need the skills to influence and drive change, combined with the drive to deliver results in what is an incredibly exciting fast-paced environment.Here's a snapshot of your day;Develop and assist with the implementation of strategies and solutions to optimise building operations and maintenance cost across the ISPT portfolioAssume responsibility for the management of new and existing contract life cycles and negotiations of suppliers delivering hard and soft facilities management servicesImplement and drive CBRE – ISPT sustainability strategy and supplier diversity programDeliver agile procurement models, operational efficiencies and high value outcomes that deliver sustainable long – term savings End to end management of procurement process for select Capital Work projects and operational contractsAssist with contract and scope development, administration of contracts, ensuring supplier performance and contract complianceManage preferred supplier agreement tenders and provide tender analysisMonitor and manage vendor performance and service delivery including KPI reporting Here are some of the strengths you'll possess and the background you'll need to be successful.Several years of demonstrated experience in Procurement Category / Contract management with specialist experience in either Hard or Soft Facilities Management services or related role.CIPS qualifications preferredRelevant Tertiary qualification in supply chain, law, engineering or property Sound knowledge and competent in application of Statutory Legislation imposing or affecting property operations and building including the Modern Slavery Act 2018A proven track record in negotiating and delivering Procurement contracts of over $20M in annual spend An ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders and build strong working relationshipDemonstrated negotiation and influencing skillsSo, what's in it for you?Joining our team means surrounding yourself with talented, driven professionals who are at the top of their field.
