You are a Senior Clinical Psychologist with over eight years of clinical experience, excellent interpersonal and therapeutic skills, strong organisational, supervisory and leadership skills, along with a passion for delivering high quality care for patients living with a mental illness?
We are currently recruiting for a Chief Clinical Psychologist to be an active member of the allied health management team over the next twelve months.

Responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate the individual assessment and therapy referrals for the clinical psychology inpatient service.
* Lead the development and updating of the clinical psychology psychoeducation groups program (in the Living Well Program) and review and update the content of other psychologically-based inpatient group programs.
* Provide supervision to Grade 2 & 3 psychologists, and along with the Allied Health Manager co-ordinate the supervision structure for clinical psychology.
* Conduct individual psychology assessment, therapy and group work.
* Work with the TMC allied health management and nursing education team to develop professional training sessions for staff in your areas of expertise.
This is a fixed-term part-time role (0.4 to 0.6 EFT) with EFT and days negotiable.

Essential Criteria:
* Masters or Doctoral post-graduate qualification in Clinical Psychology.
* Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist with area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
* Grade 4 minimum appointment requirement: Eight years + experience as a psychologist.
* Approved as a primary supervisor for area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
* Demonstrated commitment to high quality service provision and to professional development.
* Highly developed assessment, formulation and treatment planning skills.
* Experience and competency in the provision of a variety of evidence-based group therapies in inpatient facilities.
* Experience and competency in the provision of evidence-based individual therapy and clinical psychological assessment in inpatient facilities.
* Highly-developed interpersonal, communication and team leadership skills.
* Well-developed time management and workload organisational skills.
* A commitment to upholding high standards of ethical practice.
* A current Working with Children Check.
* All staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza and provide acceptable evidence of their vaccination status.
