This integrated model offers a more cost-effective solution than traditional methods, providing our clients with innovative, always-on support tailored to their needs.The RoleAirmaster Automation Victoria is a controls and systems integrator of BMS and IoT solutions, providing leading-edge services in BMS maintenance, BMS systems engineering, design, integration installation & commissioning across both existing building portfolios and construction projects.As a multi-vendor certified automation partner company, we are currently seeking an experienced and qualified BMS Technician to join our expanding Victorian team.Based in Scoresby, Victoria, our DDC controls technicians are the cornerstone of our service and installation solutions.
As the successful applicant, you will provide high quality and compliant engineering, service and support to our clients.The ability to travel for service and projects works within Victoria Australia is a requirement of the role.The successful candidate will possess the following:Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a pleasant phone mannerIntermediate computer skills in Microsoft Excel and office-based databasesBe willing to undergo a national police background checkBe fully vaccinated against Covid-19A valid and current Victorian Australian driving licenceTertiary or trade qualifications in mechanical, electrical or electronic disciplinesAt least 5 years' experience in a similar role within the HVAC BMS industryExperience in the following platforms considered an advantage: Tridium Niagara (TCP qualification will be favourable), Distech GFX & EC-Net, Schneider StruxureWare, Alerton, Honeywell and specialist lighting products.A technical knowledge of Building Automation, Energy Management, System Integration, Optimisation of Chiller Plant Controls and HVAC SolutionsDeliver BMS engineering on time and within budget for controls installation and projects and to meet the expectation of the client.Thorough working knowledge of computers, operating systems, and associated peripheralsKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop/complete and issue BMS engineering documentation inclusive of system functional descriptions/methodologies, network topology schematics, I/O lists.Program/code/commission simple to complex HVAC system BMS interface/integration within the industry platforms as specified above (Tridium/Distech & Schneider will be looked on favourably)Provide higher level technical advice and support to technicians and apprentices including high-level troubleshooting on project sites, to other team members.Assist the controls manager to meet their profitability objectives for their controls business.Support operatives in building strong client relationships based on trust and respect.Respond to service calls and complete quoted work as directed by the control room, whilst keeping the control room advised of job status and daily movements.Available to work some overtime and on call.Benefits of Working with AirmasterThe successful candidate will enjoy the benefits of working with a high performing and progressive company who enjoy an enviable reputation in the industry.
