The Role
We are looking for a Part-Time Clinical Nurse Educator, who is passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join our facility in Wauchope. We are currently offering 24 hours per fortnight (days and time negotiable).
You must be dedicated to working and understanding the residential aged care environment and standards. We have a range of shifts available and a culture of high-level empathy and compassion for our residents.
What you will do
The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for ensuring:
1. Delivering high-quality education and training
2. Coordinating student placements to ensure a positive learning experience
3. Delivery of one-on-one and group education to all levels of staff across the home
4. Monitor and report on mandatory training completion
5. Provide orientation to new staff
6. Undertake education needs analysis and develop a plan to address identified needs
What you will bring:
1. Bachelor of Nursing and hold a current AHPRA
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills
3. Hold NDIS Worker Checks (or willing to obtain)
4. Aged Care Experience Essential
5. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (not essential, but highly desirable)
6. Highly desirable to have Home Care and RAC experience
7. Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
