On your door step are the dramatic coastlines, sheltered bays, and endless golden beaches. This is also a popular place for river and estuary fishing, water-based activities and relaxing on the beach.
The Facility:
As part of the state wide health service you will be located in this modern 160 bed facility providing high quality health care to the local region. The hospital also offers services in medical, surgical and allied health specialties through inpatient and outpatient departments. The hospital has a strong relationship with the University of Tasmania's Rural Clinical School, and the secondary care facilities are both associated teaching hospitals with contemporary teaching environments.
The Role:
To provide specialist paediatric services as an effective team member within the Paediatric Unit.
The paediatric service has an approved establishment of 3 specialist paediatricians and 1 RMO. The service operates a community paediatrics clinic 5 days per week and outreach services.
Requirements:
To apply for this role you should hold the FRACP in General Paediatrics or have the RACP college assessment completed with a ‘substantially comparable’ outcome.
