Social Worker: Full-time temporary up to 12 months vacancy Police Psychologist: Full-time ongoing vacancy The Social Worker and Police Psychologist are accountable to the Manager Employee Assistance Section, and the Clinical Lead, Employee Assistance Section for the provision of Social Work/Psychology expertise.
As an experienced Psychologist or Social Worker, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide assessment, consultancy and support services that are professional, trauma informed and relevant to your qualifications and experience.
This diverse and dynamic role involves the provision of assessments, critical incident support, brief intervention counselling, training, education and consultancy to the organisation across the career span of police and unsworn employees.
You will engage in professional education on a range of topics and learn a broad and generalisable skill set in this role.
Regular, supportive supervision is provided by experienced clinicians, and this could include a pathway towards Clinical Endorsement (for psychologists).
Special Conditions The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.The incumbent will be rostered for on call/out of hours emergency situations involving both police personnel and operational incidents.On occasions, may be required to work out of hours to conduct police training courses and selection programmes.Other out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.Requirements (For Social Worker) An undergraduate degree level qualification in Social Work with eligibility for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers.Requirements (For Police Psychologist) Current unrestricted registration as a psychologist under the provisions of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (SA) Act 2010 and Regulations.Must hold a current, Class C (car) driver's licence.Salary
AHP2 - $88,255 - $102,240 per annum.
