Your new role
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of projects by undertaking a wide range of responsibilities. Working closely alongside the company director, your key responsibilities will include:
* Establishing and maintaining efficient filing and archiving systems.
* Coordinating travel, accommodation, and site mobilisation requests.
* Assisting with claims, purchasing, and basic contract administration requirements.
* Reading and Interpreting civil drawings
* Supporting Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, including assisting with management plans and ensuring subcontractor compliance.
* Documenting project performance, preparing reports, and contributing to risk assessments and method statements.
* Liaising with stakeholders, community groups, architects, engineers, and technical personnel to ensure project success.
This role requires a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional duties may be assigned based on project needs.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as Project Coordinator, you will have the following skills and qualifications:
* Degree in Project Management, Business administration, engineering or related field.
* Experience in a similar role supporting civil construction projects is an essential requirement.
* Basic understanding of project management principles, methodologies, best practices and software.
* Strong time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
