What You Will Be Doing Enthusiastic and motivated Obstetric and Gynaecology Sonographers are invited to join the busy Peninsula Health team as a full-time or part-time employee. Ultrasound services provided at Peninsula Health include Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatric, Vascular, Emergency, Breast, and small parts. The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Sonographer is responsible for conducting ultrasound examinations and producing diagnostic images in line with the accepted policies/procedures and clinical practice guidelines of Peninsula Health. The Sonographer will be able to effectively manage and coordinate the operations and prioritize workflow of the rostered modality and be able to liaise with other modality stakeholders and management to ensure department operations are as effective as possible. ASAR membership or eligibility for registration with the ASAR and formal Ultrasound qualifications. Produces accurate written documentation using clear, concise, and grammatically correct language. Confidently conveys ideas and information in a clear and interesting way and listens to feedback. Is able to use common software applications and is competent across the Microsoft Office suite. Plans and prioritizes to ensure outcomes are achieved. Detects the underlying concerns, interests, or emotions that lie behind what is being said and done. Seeks all relevant information for problem-solving and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts actions as required. Identifies and responds to the needs of others and constantly looks for continuous improvement opportunities. Aware of, interprets, and applies relevant policies and guidelines.
