Overview Support various Asset Management activities, including data capture, condition assessment, maintenance of the Asset Management System and information collation with a responsibility for data accuracy. Accountabilities Capture, update and upload data relating to Council’s infrastructure Utilise and maintain Asset Management databases and electronic record systems. Support the Asset Management Team in facilitating the Asset Management System and delivering optimised asset management outcomes. Notify the Maintenance Supervisors in case of extreme potential threat to life during inspections. Ensure that data capture devices are suitably set up for data collection. Conform to Council’s Communication Protocol is followed when dealing with the public. Other related tasks as required by Team Leader Data Collection and GIS. Essential Qualifications Technical knowledge of data collection devices. Class C Drivers License. Essentials Experience Demonstrated basic computer skills Have a flexible, innovative, multi-disciplinary approach to work Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision Demonstrated basic understanding of WH&S and Risk Management principles Demonstrated willingness and capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems Desirable Experience Demonstrated ability to set up data collection devices. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in GPS based data acquisition technology.
