About the Role
This is a pivotal role that will further drive the growth trajectory of ABC Group in the Insurance Repair space and beyond. Reporting to our General Manager, you will be responsible for fostering existing client relationships and identifying and creating new business opportunities to expand our Queensland and national footprints.
Key Accountabilities
1. Working closely with our Directors / General Manager to identify and facilitate alternative business opportunities to provide further growth for ABC Group.
2. Create and deliver on sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth and revenue objectives.
3. Create competitive business proposals, prepare tender processes and documentation to ensure a consistent, high-quality submission, including negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts.
4. Foster and maintain existing client relationships, ensuring we capture opportunities to increase our service offerings to our clients.
5. Research and build a prospective client list and evaluate market entry opportunities for our key prospects.
6. Become a subject matter expert for our competing markets, monitor competitors' sales and services offering strategies to optimise market share, and identify emerging trends/threats within the market.
7. Actively contribute to the success of our team!
To ensure your success, you will possess the following;
1. 5+ years in a comparable Business Development role, ideally within the Construction Industry
2. A competitive attitude that drives you to exceed KPIs and deliver above expectations each time
3. Advanced presentation, sales, networking and negotiation skills
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
