The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.This position will be based at our BWU1 Site, located in Moorebank NSW, reporting to the Human Resources Manager, The role will initially work a Day Shift Roster; Wednesday to Saturday (730am to 530pm) before transitioning to a Night Shift Roster; Wednesday - Saturday (5:00pm to 3:00am) from Mid November. Learn More about Amazon AustraliaKey job responsibilities• HR Advice and Support: Provide general support and guidance to leaders and employees on People matters.• Respond to employees queries in regards to benefits, pay, policy and wellbeing.• Manage performance and misconduct investigations supporting and coaching leaders in the management of their team.• Lead and execute people and process improvement initiatives and projects.•Employee Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employment records and the updating of HR systems.• HR Administration Support: Provide a high level of administration support, including documentation / letters, data reporting and supporting general activities across the employee lifecycle. • Administer and support an accurate time and attendance system for payroll purposes.• Act as a Subject-Matter Expert for employees and escalate as appropriate.• Provide training and guidance on policies, processes, and systems to employees. - High school or equivalent- 6+ months of Human Resources experienc- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and ExcelAcknowledgement of country:In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
