About the role
Mater Health Services is seeking applications for an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse to join the friendly and professional team within the Neurosciences Unit at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane. The position will be offered in a permanent part time, 32 hours per week.
Salary range: $39.61 - $53.30 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and +

The Neurosciences Unit has 56 beds and provides exceptional care to neurology, neurosurgery and spinal surgery patients. As a highly valued member of the team you will be part of a group of professionals, who take pride in providing the highest levels of patient care. The team is supportive, approachable and patient focused and provides excellent training and development opportunities.

About you
To be considered for this position, you will have:
1. Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
2. RN experience dealing with Neuro patients
3. Considerable post-graduate experience
4. Demonstrated advanced interpersonal and communication skills
5. Strong problem-solving skills
6. Strong knowledge of continuous improvement process, coupled with the proven ability to initiate, coordinate and evaluate quality improvement measures
7. Availability to work a rotating roster including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends
Those applicants with relevant post graduate qualifications and/or clinical experience in relevant fields of nursing will be highly regarded. While not essential, applicants who currently have or are studying towards a tertiary qualification within this clinical specialty would be highly regarded.
