Selection Criteria SC1: Demonstrated understanding of common approaches, policies, programs and research relating to student wellbeing and behaviour SC2: Demonstrated experience in coordinating supports for young people with complex needs, including referrals to a range of specialist services as appropriate SC3: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both school-based inclusion teams and external multidisciplinary professional teams, undertaking assessments as required and contributing to Disability Inclusion Profile meetings SC4: Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate processes and strategies aimed at supporting students to modify challenging behaviour SC5: A commitment to professional learning and growth, including the delivery of professional development to others SC6: Highly developed communication, networking and interpersonal skills enabling effective liaison with a range of people in the education community and beyond Role A Psychologist provides high level support addressing the needs of individuals and groups of students and works within the Disability Inclusion and Wellbeing Team, led by the Assistant Principal. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate evidence of an appropriate psychology qualification.
