We are currently looking for a experienced Kitchen hand/Cook to join us on a casual basis at our Albany Home.
About the role:
As a Kitchen Hand using your previous hospitality experience, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service, food safety, and an understanding of special dietary requirements that will have a positive impact on the wellbeing of our resident's, you will therefore hold strong communication skills combined with the ability to build positive and warm working relationships with residents and colleagues. We commit to our residents and our employees, and encourage our staff to commit to working safely within their teams.
Your Responsibilities:
* Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
* Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
* Preparation and cleaning in accordance with the Food Safety Program
About you :
* Organised, can-do attitude to what can be a physically demanding team environment
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Flexibility to work acrossany dayof the week
* Previous experience in Hotel Services (Kitchen)Highly Desirable
* Sound knowledge of Food Safety (current Food Safety Qualifications)

* Current NDIS check clearance (or willing to obtain)
* Proof of Work rights in Australia
* Proof of COVID Vaccination certificate (2 doses + booster dose)
* Proof of Flu vaccination (current year)
