This full-time, permanent role will have you guiding inmates in technical skills that contribute to their rehabilitation and reintegration, preparing them for opportunities post-release. As a Trade Instructor in the Metal Fabrication team, you’ll make a positive impact by: Delivering vocational training in metal fabrication and developing inmates’ employability Ensuring a safe, secure working environment that aligns with WHS standards Conducting daily audits of tools and equipment to maintain security compliance Assisting with sentence management through structured activities and reporting Promoting the value of vocational training within the correctional facility Serco is a place for you You are a skilled metal fabrication professional with a passion for training others.
