Locations within the territory are Victoria, Nanaimo, Port Alberni, Duncan, Campbell River, Terrace, Prince Rupert & Langford.As a Regional Manager, your primary functions are:Customer SatisfactionEnsure outstanding customer service levels are provided to both external and internal customersHandle and resolve all customer complaints promptlyEnsure adherence to customer retention proceduresAssociate Development & RetentionEnsure new associates are efficiently trainedEnsure associates receive on-time performance appraisals and corresponding merit and/or promotional increasesAssist Managers with employee development and with resolving disciplinary issuesCommunicate regularly with management team and ensure compliance with the Workplace Mutual Respect policyWork with managers to minimize turnover and make informed hiring decisionsPartner with HR to execute and support human resources programs through succession planning, employee relations, recruitment, training, and development of associatesDeliver Financial ResultsManage district budget to drive profitabilityAchieve SOI, net and gross margins, and other revenue percentages to planControl region labour dollarsMonitor fee income, gain on sale, maintenance charges, promotions, and discountsEnsure store managers monitor and make necessary adjustments to the P&LGrow Revenue BaseDevelop, guide, and monitor local marketing effortsEnsure all company referral and incentive programs are in place and properly executedSet and communicate regional goals for customer growthMonitor and ensure the accurate execution of all company lease-building programsExecute Operations StandardsMonitor month-to-month store operations, accounts receivable, and collections in accordance with established policies and proceduresSet, communicate, and monitor customer retention goals and activitiesAsset Protection and Loss PreventionAudit locations on a timely basis to ensure compliance and execution of company policies and procedures including prevention, safety, security, marketing/merchandising programs and store appearanceMaintain and monitor fixed assets to standardRecommend potential capital expendituresMonitor and ensure compliance to store opening and closing standardsEnsure compliance with established policies and governmental laws and regulationWhat You Need To Work With Us:2 or more years of experience as a multi-unit district manager in a retail, restaurant, or related customer service environmentStrong leadership skills, with the motivation and desire to lead by exampleProfessional, outgoing, positive, and approachable demeanour that draws in both customers and associatesOutstanding communication, problem solving, and negotiation skills, and the ability to work well and be resourceful in fast-paced and demanding situationsStrong organizational and planning skills in order to meet and exceed set targetsExperience reading and being responsible for P&Ls and other financial goals and objectivesSecondary School Diploma is required, while a College or University Diploma in a related discipline is preferredValid driver’s licenseWe offer a competitive salary, an annual incentive plan, benefits, and growth opportunities.
