About the opportunity:
The Head of Corporate Finance is a senior position in Holcim Australia's finance governance and planning function, which provides strategic oversight of the corporate finance function to contribute to the decision-making process of the Executive Committee (‘ExCo'), and to meet all Holcim Group financial information reporting requirements, and external statutory requirements.
As Head of Corporate Finance, you will be part of the Finance Leadership Team (‘FLT') charged with maximising shareholder returns and undertaking relevant FP&A activities. You will contribute to value-adding analysis - interpreting results, performance indicators and trends across the businesses for the purposes of improving financial performance and meeting upward reporting requirements.
You will be a leader of continual improvement with particular emphasis on financial processes and policies responding to and anticipating future organisational needs and setting the tone for Holcim's performance management & governance rhythms.
Relationship management will be critical to your success and you will work in a highly collaborative manner - cultivating strong working relationships with the corporate functions - maintaining a macro view whilst at the same time being able to work at a detailed level.
The role is based in North Sydney surrounded by an array of excellent cafes and restaurants, making it a vibrant and convenient location to work.

About you:
6. Relevant tertiary business or accounting qualifications - CPA or CA.
7. Strong experience in Statutory, Technical and Tax Accounting.
8. Extensive experience leading and developing a high performing team.
9. Significant experience in a senior chartered audit, assurance or technical environment.
10. Relevant industry experience (e.g., resources, engineering and construction) would be advantageous but not essential.
11. Experience in roles or projects requiring problem solving, analytical thinking, vision and leadership.
12. Advanced computer skills - Google Drive and Excel and ideally SAP and Business Warehouse experience.
