Project Engineer Division: Boral Resources QLD P/L Department: ASPHALT QLD Work type: Permanent - full time Location: Rockhampton & Capricorn Coast Your next opportunity Boral Asphalt is seeking a responsible, organised and experienced individual to join our team as a Project Engineer/Coordinator based in Rockhampton.Reporting to the Area Manager – Asphalt, you will be responsible for effectively managing and coordinating asphalt projects whilst ensuring construction exceeds standards and legislation, minimising risk and ensuring that Boral meets performance expectations. Your day will involve: Planning and scheduling of day-to-day activities to meet project milestones Liaising and working closely with contracting teams and site personnel to deliver performance outcomes Effectively apply terms of the contract in maximizing value Monitoring of supplier & subcontractor performance Provide engineering support to management as required What are we looking for? Proven ability with similar experience in civil roles Contractor management experience Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines Knowledge and understanding of project management methodology Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills and Project Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with all people, and to lead and influence people Personal drive and results-orientation What's on offer?
