Deliver efficient and safe planned and unplanned maintenance, capital, and non-regulated programs to achieve availability, performance, cost, and risk targets for smart and reliable services to customers. Apply trade-based skills and knowledge with specific instruction, assisting with installations, repairs, maintenance, testing, modification, commissioning, and fault finding on plant, equipment, and materials.
In addition, your responsibilities will include:
* Display a proactive approach to workplace safety and demonstrate excellent safety and constructive style behaviours in line with SA Water values and code of conduct.
* Provide technical expertise and support to all trade related maintenance activities.
* Participate in and provide subject matter expertise in Safety in Design (SiD) and HAZOP studies.
* Liaise with maintenance delivery coordinators and supervisors to provide updates on schedules, cost estimates, and any scope variations in accordance with the regional capital delivery framework.
* Display work management discipline, to capture and report all required maintenance data accurately and promptly in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
* Create follow up work orders for additional repair and replacement as required.
* Notify and report to the supervisor if infrastructure and assets need to be added to the capital renewal and replacement program.
Your success in this role will come from:
* Met all the relevant metal classification criteria for SAW4 Maintenance Trade (Fabrication).
* Relevant Trade Certificate
* Ability to work under limited supervision and in a team environment
* Understanding of work health and safety and the ability to manage safety and risk
* Ability to analyse technical operational problems and recommend appropriate solutions while working under limited supervision
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills and competent with computer and software applications
* Demonstrate skill, awareness and knowledge on water quality, wastewater, and environmental procedures
* Experience running and/or managing small projects
