About us:
The Nursing and Midwifery Education and Research Unit provides Nursing and Midwifery education, professional practice development services and Clinical Practice Improvement initiatives for Nursing and Midwifery staff, to facilitate the achievement of best practice Health Service delivery requirements.
About the role:
The Clinical Nurse Facilitator actively engages in the development of a learning culture, through face-to-face interaction and teaching of graduate Nurses, whilst liaising with the Clinical Unit and respective teams. The Graduate Clinical Nurse Facilitator models' evidence-based practice at a proficient level.
1. Contribute to positive patient outcomes by applying advanced educational skills and clinical knowledge within the context of practice development.
2. Provide effective support and guidance to CQHHS graduate Registered Nurses.
3. Support strategic direction by applying education methodologies to improve clinical practice, leading change management and engaging in policy/procedure development related to the role.
4. Applying education methodologies to improve clinical practice.
About you:
Mandatory qualification/s: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.
5. A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position. A relevant postgraduate qualification in which clinical education was a component is a requirement of this position.
6. Successful completion of the preceptor program.
Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: Where the successful applicant does not currently hold this qualification, commitment to completion of the required post-graduate study within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance review process.

Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 p.a.is comprised of:
7. An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
