Job Title: Office Facilities Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Office Facilities Manager to join our client's Sydney office. This role is responsible for the coordination of facilities tasks and services, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
Scope of Work:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, vendor services, and vendor contracts. They will also manage property and tenancy related issues, assist with financial and administrative requirements, and take an active role in initiatives and management.
* Ensure quality and timely service delivery to the customer
* Manage vendor performance and report on key metrics
* Inspect facilities daily and conduct major facility audits monthly and quarterly
* Keep and maintain records of inspections, maintenance reports, certificates, and compliance documentation
* Participate in minor churn, moves, and coordinate capital expenditure projects
Required Skills and Experience:
* At least 2 years' experience in facilities management
* Good understanding of financial management and controls
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Excellent communication skills – written and spoken
* Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, and can work autonomously
* Good interpersonal skills with a professional attitude
* Demonstrates organizational abilities by effectively handling multiple tasks
* Logical and analytical thought processes and good problem-solving skills
* Good working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
* Experience with Microsoft packages – particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
This position offers a high hourly rate dependent on prior experience. The successful candidate will be employed as an on-site contractor via Anton Murray Consulting with our client.
